The Coady International Institute has moved to its new facilities in the heart of the StFX campus. Our phone numbers have remained the same, as have our email addresses and our postal address. However, if you ar coming to see us in person, please look for us at Aquinas Hall which is now connected to Alumni House. Parking is available at Bloomfield.

Some of the highlights of the new facilities include:

  • A doubling of the square footage of the Institute to 55,000 square feet (43,000 in renovated/restored heritage buildings, and 12,000 of new construction).
  • The preservation and renovation of four beautiful heritage buildings on campus.
  • An expanded Marie Michael Library and mobile lab, which will make the Library’s many information resources easily accessible for all students.
  • Seven new and modern classrooms with corresponding breakout rooms for smaller group discussions.
  • A 100 seat Hall – this venue will serve both to host national and international guests and delegations to campus and as a new community resource for Coady public events and presentations.
  • A scenic and inspirational garden, encompassing an area of 30,000 square feet, will provide an attractive public space and feature a bronze monument of Moses Coady.
  • A heritage/interpretative component to showcase the Antigonish Movement, Coady graduates and partners, and our donors.

We hope you will plan to join us for our grand opening celebrations on September 26th.
