Senior Program Staff
Behrang joined Coady in September 2008. His work is divided between the Coady International Institute and the Department of Adult Education where he coordinates the graduate program in Adult Education and Community Development. Behrang's experience involves community organizing, planning and education in Iran, Kurdistan, India, Afghanistan and Canada. He teaches in the areas of participatory democracy and governance, adult education, participatory project management, natural resource management, and capacity building for community-based development; his research focuses on examining the pedagogical effects of participatory practices at community level.
Behrang has BSc in Engineering (Isfahan University of Technology, Iran), MSc in Planning (University of Guelph) and PhD in Adult Education and Community Development (University of Toronto).
