Beth Woroniuk has worked on women's rights and gender equality issues in international development for over 25 years, primarily as a consultant and activist. She has advised numerous UN agencies, various units within the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development of Canada (formerly CIDA), and NGOs. Her specific areas of interest include women's economic empowerment; gender dimensions of peacebuilding, conflict and humantarian assistance; gender mainstreaming strategies and organizational approaches. She has provided technical support, carried out evaluations, designed and delivered training, developed tools, supported reporting processes and conducted gender/gender-based analyses.
A firm believer in participatory approaches, Beth is always looking to learn and grow.
