Position Description:
  • Review and improve outreach program strategy to ensure target population is reached
  • Participate in outreach activities
  • Assist in the development of a laboratory diagnostic centre
  • Mentor laboratory science students

Qualifications:

  • Background in nursing or biology
  • General laboratory skills
  • Knowledge in natural sciences
  • Interest in teaching and tutoring
  • Research and writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 
Host Organization Details: Kigali Health Institute is an education institute which trains and improves the capacity of health professionals. The interns will contribute to KHI’s Laboratory Department by working with their outreach programs that serve rural populations of Rwanda and by providing public laboratory diagnostic services.
