Position Description
  • Assist in developing funding proposals in line with the association's strategic plan specifcally related to the field of human rights and governance.
  • Assist in writing articles to be published on the association's website and newsletter.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation for the governance program and produce reports.
  • Assist in developing advocacy strategy to ensure mainstreaming of youth concerns in government planning.

Qualifications:

  • Background in community development, human rights or advocacy/campaigning
  • Interest in human rights, gender and youth issues
  • Interest in advocacy and lobbying
  • Survey and research skills
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Proposal writing and fundraising skills
  • French oral and written skills
 
AJPRODHO is committed to empowering youth for human rights respect and advocate for their socio-economic betterment. The intern will support AJPRODHO on its governance program which aims to create mechanisms that ensure youth actively participate in local governance processes and that their priority concerns are addressed and strengthened. The intern’s work will also strengthen AJPRODHO’s capacity in monitoring and evaluation.
